Studies have found that female partners of men with PE report higher rates of distress and interpersonal difculties compared to partners of (5,19,20) non-PE men . In an observational study by Rowland et al, partners of men with PE reported (20) rates of distress as high as 44% . This higher rates of distress in partners of men with sexual dysfunctions will have a negative impact on their quality of life. Conclusion Male sexual dysfunction (MSD) is a prevalent issue that affects not only the individual but also their intimate partners. The repercussions of MSD extend beyond the bedroom, affecting emotional, psychological, and relational aspects of the partner's life. Acknowledging and addressing the consequences of male sexual dysfunction on partners is essential for fostering healthy communication, mutual support, and overall wellbeing. By adopting a holistic approach that involves medical intervention, counselling, and education, healthcare professionals can guide couples toward a path of healing and reconnection.
