We provide training for men and women who want to get involved in educating people about prostate cancer. We then use them at events and functions that we participate in to educate men about prostate cancer. We’re always looking for ways to raise funds so that we can do more to educate men about prostate cancer and support those men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.
Kosmos lodge have been hosting an annual golf day for us for the past few years in . It would be great to have golf days in other cities within South Africa for fund raisers. Please contact us if you would be interested in hosting a golf day in aid of The Prostate Cancer Foundation.
Prostate cancer survivors can join The Prostate Cancer Foundation as members of our patient affairs board. The can also become volunteer educators and assist with manning The Prostate Cancer Foundation stand. If they are willing, they can share their stories on our social media platforms. Those who are confident public speakers have a vital role to play in educating men and sharing their journey with prostate cancer at presentations and in media interviews. . It is always encouraging for men who have been recently diagnosed with prostate cancer to hear from survivors who have managed the disease and continued to live productive and fulfilling lives.
